The Velvet Blue

The story behind the song

The Velvet Blue follows a pilot alone above the sleeping world, moving through clouds, mountains, stars and distant lights while carrying the thought of someone far away. The flight becomes almost a love letter written across the sky — every mile outward still somehow leading back home. The title itself becomes the space separating the pilot from the person they're always finding their way back to.
