Night Approach

The story behind the song

Night Approach captures one of aviation's quieter pleasures — the end of a good day of flying, when daylight has disappeared, the cockpit settles into its night glow and the lights of the destination slowly begin to appear ahead. With no lyrics, the instrumental follows that calm transition from cruise into descent, approach and the anticipation of returning to the runway.
